Peacock Needlebook update pic

Here is a progress picture of my in between project, Peacock Needlebook.. Starting the back stitch on this and adding beads at the end. I have some lovely colors of wool felt for the needlebook pages and hopefully get this finished right as Frosty Forest arrives. The fabric is already here and it's gorgeous. I'll be posting here and on the SAL blog along with side projects here. The weather here has turned freezing at night, good stitching weather to just snuggle up and work. I'll be busy busy in the next week with seeing the new Hunger Games movie, a check up at the doctor, Thanksgiving and my birthday the day after. Good times!

Absolutely beautiful. Is the fabric called Meadow? I had looked at your photo on a few posts ago, but wasn't sure. This is going to be one incredible needlebook. WOW your husband rides a bike in the snow? or was that to get to home?
Happy Birthday! love Annette

The design is part of a Joan Elliott design called Eastern Promise in her Wit and Wisdom book. The fabric is Stephys Fabbys Meadow in 28ct opal linen. Yep my husband bikes to work almost every day, including in snow. He is from Australia and snow is sort of a novelty for him and he loves it. Thanks for the questions!
